The unfortunate hound was killed during roadworks carried performed in the middle of the night, according to social activist Naresh Paras.
“The dog was asleep on the side of the road,” he explained. Rather than chasing the animal away, they sprayed it with hot coal tar… The animal was later run over by a road roller.
The crew left the half-buried remains on the road, which was discovered the next morning by astonished commuters.
Later footage shows the dead dog’s legs encased in tarmac, which must have been quite hot when it was laid.

Fans of Building off the Grid will be relieved to learn that we found no evidence that the show is a hoax. We didn’t even come across any outlandish conspiracy theories concerning the show when researching it. The show has been on long enough that if there were any major clues that it was a hoax, they would have been all over the internet by now. Of course, if the performance was a hoax, everyone involved would have been bound to secrecy in the form of a nondisclosure agreement (NDA).
Of course, things are likely to be modified and/or presented in ways that make them more intriguing. At the end of the day, these production corporations will do whatever they believe is necessary to lure viewers to watch their shows. However, it does not appear that the show is scripted.
The Show Is Real, But Is It Real Enough?
While no one has publicly accused the show of being a hoax, many individuals believe the series presents events in unrealistic ways. Some viewers, for example, believe that the projects on the show are completed so rapidly that crucial aspects are sometimes overlooked.
“Sloppy all the way through and the incorrect way to perform a good job and stay safe through it,” one viewer wrote on the show’s IMDB page. Examples of how to operate safely that are terrifying! I’m sure they all end up with horrific skin, lung, or other injuries as a result of their bad work habits. However, if you’re watching Building off the Grid, keep in mind that the show is mostly intended for amusement rather than teaching. As previously stated, in order to be more engaging, all reality shows must lose some of their authenticity.

Adventurers and their teams combat Mother Nature in order to construct one-of-a-kind homes in isolated locations. Will they complete their projects on time, from yurts to log homes to Earthships, from Montana to the North Pole? A Modern Farmhouse in Wisconsin, a mountain home in Maine, a treehouse in Georgia’s Blue Ridge Mountains, and a homestead in the Smoky Mountains are among the projects. I just conducted a survey of off-grid homesteaders to investigate how they make money, and the following is the outcome.
- 28 percent of businesses are conducted online
- 19% of people commute to work.
- 9 percent of the population lives on a farm.
According to the findings, the vast majority of modern homesteaders work online, with the remainder either not working at all or commuting to a traditional job. While some may adhere to the romantic notion of a self-sufficient farm, the reality of living off the grid is that practically everyone has a source of income other than the farm. So, it’s time to accept the fact that most homesteads will need to be accompanied by some type of online business in order to function.
The talents you’ll need to develop a successful business are the ones you’ll need to learn first. These are some of them:
- Self-motivation and time management
- Financial acuity
- Promotion and Marketing
You will be able to start a business anyplace after you master these skills. You can start one or more internet enterprises, or you can start a local business. You can work in any industry that interests you. You can either develop a passive or active (full-time) income company.
If you value your security, which I believe all homesteaders do, you should begin transitioning from employee to company owner as soon as possible. You will never be truly independent unless you can provide for yourself.
