For an additional fee, the park sells a limited number of “Fast Lane tickets” each day, which allow visitors to skip the usual wait in favor of a shorter, faster-moving line on more than 20 of its most popular rides.

There is still a line in the “Fast Lane,” but it is shorter than the line for ordinary admission since the park regulates how many upgraded tickets it sells each day.

Cedar Point charges $49.99 for single-day entry or $122.99 for entrance plus “Fast Lane Plus.”

Kennywood in West Mifflin, which is closer to home, provides season passes ranging from $99.99 to $144.99, as well as ordinary tickets for $49.99 on weekdays and $54.99 on weekends.
