Customers will be able to order pizza from any Pizza Hut delivery location using the app.
The location-based service from Vodafone will find the closest Pizza Hut delivery store to the customer’s location.
Customers will not be required to pay at the time of delivery; instead, the cost of their order will be added to their monthly phone bill. Pay-as-you-go consumers can also use the service.
Orders are limited to 30, however Pizza Hut is offering a 20% discount for orders placed using this app.
“We are always searching for new and unique ways to engage with our customers, and the world of mobile technology is an exciting area to achieve this,” said Scott Muncaster, Pizza Hut’s marketing manager of digital.
“This app is the first of its kind on the market, and what users love about it is that you don’t have to worry about having cash on you because the cost is added to your phone bill.”
Starcom and Yahoo! came up with the idea for Pizza Hut’s cooperation. After an initial trial period, the software is likely to be rolled out to a larger range of handsets.
Is it possible to charge stuff on my phone bill?
“We expanded this feature this week to encompass all forms of digital content on Google Play,” according to the business. “T-Mobile customers in the United States can now charge applications, music, movies, and books directly to their mobile account.”
AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile all accept carrier billing payments in the United States. Go to Account -> Payment Methods -> Add Payment Method by clicking on the “+ sign -> Pay using” in the Google Play app (service provider).
Your new payment method will be authorized once you enter the verification code supplied to your cell phone.
Those who do not know how to use debit/credit cards but want to buy digital content will find this payment option extremely beneficial.
The Department of Transportation has not stated which services will be able to accept mobile phone billing as a payment method. What happens after I enable carrier billing?
Any app or media purchases made on the iTunes Store, App Store, and iBooks Store, as well as Apple Music subscriptions, will be charged and debited from your prepaid amount once you verify your phone number for carrier billing and receive a confirmation message that the new payment method is now active.
Any app or media purchases made on Apple’s content stores will be charged directly to your phone bill if your mobile number is tied to a postpaid wireless plan.
Can mobile phone billing be used for In-App Purchases?
Yes, purchases made through the In-App Purchase system will be charged to your cell phone number.
Which payment methods can I use in iTunes Store, App Store and iBooks Store?
Credit and debit cards, promo codes, store credit in the form of iTunes Store Gift Cards, Gift Certificates, and Allowances, the ClickandBuy service, PayPal (requires the account to be linked to a credit card), China UnionPay (requires SMS PIN for setup), Bank Cards (China only), and, more recently, mobile phone billing through supported carriers are all supported payment methods that vary by country.
In areas where Apple solely sells apps, payment options are limited to Visa, MasterCard, or American Express credit or debit cards. Apple’s support document here lists all of the payment alternatives for the content store.
Can I set up Family Sharing with mobile phone billing?
Yes. The family organizer must have linked their Apple ID to a credit or debit card, China UnionPay, or mobile phone billing in order to use Family Sharing. Keep in mind that the payment information for others can only be updated by the family organizer.

Paytm, a mobile commerce platform, launched the Immediate Payment Service (IMPS) on Thursday, allowing Paytm users to transfer money from their mobile wallets to any bank account.
Over 25 million Paytm customers will be able to deposit cash into their mobile wallets at the business’s 50,000 retail outlets, according to the company.
A user must be mobile or email confirmed and have been registered on the system for at least 45 days in order to use the wallet to bank account transfer feature. The transaction value must be greater than Rs 1,000 and the Paytm wallet balance must be at least Rs 2,000. The daily and monthly limits for wallet to bank account transactions are Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 25,000, respectively. Paytm revealed the information in an email message.
Amit Lakhotia, Senior Vice President of Paytm, commented on the development, saying, “With the addition of IMPS, we hope to encourage consumers to keep money in their Paytm wallets while also broadening the range of things they can do with it. It will be a game changer for them to be able to use the funds in their wallets to transfer money into banks rather than just wallet-to-wallet transfers. This initiative will accelerate our economy’s transition to a cashless economy.”
